Regarding Our Lawsuit

Dear All Saints' Parishioners,

The United States Supreme Court has denied our appeal. This is the case both for All Saints’ Episcopal Church’s appeal and The Episcopal Church’s appeal. This is devastating news to say the least.

We will be consulting with our bishop and attorneys about what possible steps might be taken at this point. In all likelihood, we will need to move from our beloved church building on Crestline Road to another location.

This decision makes little sense. All Saints' Episcopal Church was founded as an Episcopal church and has functioned as an Episcopal church for 75 years. To think that  a group of people over the horizon can decide to leave the Episcopal Church and somehow take our parish building with them is nonsensical. However, that appears to be the case.

I know that each of you is crushed and disheartened by what has transpired, as I am. Please continue to keep our parish, our bishop, and all of our people and leadership in your prayers.
