This Sunday, the All Saints Evensong Choir will sing the anthem Crux fidelis (Faithful cross) composed by King John IV of Portugal (1604-1656) who reigned from 1640 until his death; among his writings is a defense of Palestrina and a Defense of Modern Music (Lisbon, 1649). Join us for refreshments in the Student Union afterwards.
