What follows All Hallows'? All Saints Day & All Souls Day

Updated: Oct 19, 2022

Did you know that "hallows" is an old-fashioned word for saints?

All Saints Day (which has also been called All Hallows' Day) is November 1. At our church, we will celebrate on the nearest Sunday, November 6, which is All Saints' Sunday and our patronal feast.

November 2 is All Souls Day, a day for remembering our departed loved ones.

We will remember the dead during the Prayers of the People at the 12:00 p.m. Holy Eucharist on the Feast of All Souls on November 2, at the Vida & Francis Staff Chapel in the Gray House, 4936 Dexter Avenue.

To have your loved ones included by name at this Eucharist, please fill out the form that will be included with the Sunday service leaflet on October 23 and 30 and place your completed in the offering plate. You may also complete the form online (form below), save it, and email it to Mthr. Waltman at MthWaltman@asecfw.org by October 30.
