Stay after the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. services for Sunday’s postlude, Sonata no. 2: Allegro maestoso e vivace by Felix Mendelssohn.
Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847) was a German composer, pianist, organist and conductor. He was well known throughout Europe and he wrote the music for Hymn #87 Hark! the herald angels sing.
