Advent Retreat: “Be Strong, Fear Not!” Isaiah 35:4
Advent begins right after Thanksgiving! This season is more than shopping, decorating and entertaining. Advent prepares us for the Coming of Jesus Christ, which is historical, personal, and universal. The Christmas celebration is much enhanced when spiritual preparation through Advent keeps our focus on the reason for the season. Join us for a four-hour retreat the week before Thanksgiving. We will begin with Scripture, specifically the words of Isaiah read the four Sundays
All Saints' Sunday
Join us Sunday, November 2nd, for our 80 th Patronal Feast! We will celebrate at 10:00 a.m. with a combined Festival Choral Eucharist with Holy Baptism and first Communion, featuring the All Saints’ Choir and Brass Quintet & Timpani, followed by a fried chicken lunch in the Student Union. Together We Grieve - Thursday, November 13
Together We Grieve is a fresh approach to sharing the natural and valid response to ALL painful loss. We find God grieving with us, giving us the comfort of community that offers safety and confidentiality to share similar grief journeys and explore hard questions.
