New Home Update - March 2026

Dear Parish Family:

On Sunday, March 29, the Architectural Planning Committee led by Rick Robinson made a wonderful presentation to the vestry. Rick did a marvelous job recapping the committee's work. After over 40 meetings since September and hundreds of emails, they now have drawings for our new church renovations and additions. The vestry unanimously approved the current drawings and asked the APC to continue its good work. We are grateful to Rick and his team for their commitment and dedication to this project.

I hope you all will enter Holy Week together with our parish family as we gather to pray, remember, and keep watch. Making this journey over three days can draw us ever more deeply into the mystery of Christ.

As spring begins to bloom around us, we are reminded that this is a season of resurrection, renewal, and new life. In many ways, that is exactly what this journey on Locke feels like. What once lived only in our prayers and imagination is steadily beginning to take shape, and with each passing week, our vision for this future home grows clearer.

This past Sunday, the Architectural Committee met with the Vestry to review and discuss the plans, which are now about 90% complete. It was such a joy to share the incredible work the team has poured into this process. Every detail, from the placement of each wall to practical details that will serve a bride preparing for her wedding day, has been considered with the All Saints family in mind and with hope for all those who will one day walk through these doors. We are not simply preparing a building; we are cultivating a worship space where our current parishioners and future generations can gather, belong, and grow in faith.

While these past few months have at times felt slow, especially as our anticipation and excitement continue to grow, this season has also brought meaningful and even miraculous breakthroughs that are necessary for progress. We are now able to serve the community from our new Food Ministry Hub at our new campus, which already feels like a sign of the ministry and life to come. And as of last week, Urban Forestry approved our addition, including the tree in our front yard. That approval allows us to move forward with permitting as soon as we finalize a few remaining details.

This season reminds us that growth often begins quietly before it bursts into bloom. We are deeply grateful for all that has already unfolded and full of hope for what is still ahead.
