Moving Forward Together

Dear All Saints’ Parishioners,

In light of the recent decision of the courts, the parish’s leadership is moving forward.

The reality of the matter is that we will need to leave our beloved building. We will know more soon about what we are allowed to take with us.

At the Vestry meeting last night, we have forged a path forward together.

1. We will be worshipping on Sundays at our School’s chapel once we are evicted from here.

2. We have formed a Site Selection Committee to begin looking at long-term options for building our new parish church.

3. We have begun discussions with architects to start a “Master Plan” process. As you know from our previous work on master plans here, this process involves everyone in the parish. I am hoping when the time is right to have each of you join in working out what we want our new church to look like and what we want to use the space for in our various ministries. I am hopeful to have what is called a “concept drawing” of what we are generally shooting for.

4. We have engaged our organ builder, Dan Garland, in designing and building another organ worthy of the All Saints’ tradition. Clearly that is a long-term project.

Many other plans are in the works. Once those are solidified, I will let you know. It may be in small doses as I want you to be as up to speed as possible. Keep an eye out for our emails and website for news.

Many parishioners have contacted us to say, “Let us know how we can help.” We will soon be taking them up on their gracious offers and will let you all know how to participate.

More later. We will get through this together.

Fr. Jambor
