The story of Jesus’ death on the cross has been told thousands of times from countless perspectives. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John each catch different glimmers of the Good News in their accounts. Inspired by the gospels, artists, playwrights, and musicians have brought the ancient story to life in new ways for audiences across the ages. In this course, we will explore the biblical accounts of the passion and the artists they inspire. Journey toward the cross with us this Lent.
