Bishop Visit, 2026
Save the date! We will be visited by Rt. Rev. Brian Richard Seage, Assisting Bishop, on Sunday, January 11, the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord. We will celebrate the Baptism of Jesus with a combined 10:00 a.m. service with Holy Baptism and Confirmations. Afterwards, we will have a reception in the Student Union to welcome Bishop Seage. Kimbell Art Tour: Myth and Marble
Join us for a tour of the Kimbell Art Museum's exhibit, "Myth and Marble: Ancient Roman Sculpture from the Torlonia Collection" on Friday, December 5, at 5:00 p.m., hosted by the Episcopal Church Women. Please join us this Sunday to welcome our special guest Preacher, The Rev. Merrill Wade. Fr. Merrill Wade is a retired Episcopal priest living in Austin, Texas. In 1986 he entered General Theological Seminary in New York City and graduated in 1989. He was ordained an Episcopal deacon in 1989 and priest in 1990. Together We Grieve - Thursday, November 13
Together We Grieve is a fresh approach to sharing the natural and valid response to ALL painful loss. We find God grieving with us, giving us the comfort of community that offers safety and confidentiality to share similar grief journeys and explore hard questions. All Saints’ Episcopal Church Women proudly presents "The First Ordained Female Episcopal Priest in Texas," a special event hosted by the Rev. Sandra Michels. On April 25, 1977, Mthr. Sandi Michels was ordained an Episcopal priest in El Paso, becoming the first Episcopal woman ordained in the state of Texas. In her forty-eight years as a priest, she served churches in El Paso, Las Cruces, New Mexico, St. Louis, Zionsville, Indiana, and St. Elisabeth’s and Christ the King here
