Safeguarding God's Children

It’s time for 2026 Safeguarding!

We are now Safeguarding new Vestry Members and Lay Eucharistic Visitors; the process includes completion of screening and/or assigned online modules and an in-person training session.

The vestry has embraced Safeguarding training and implementation as an essential way of living into our baptismal covenant to ‘respect the dignity of every human being’.  Safeguarding helps us build a community that is safe and nurturing for all, in particular the young and vulnerable and is required by The Episcopal Diocese of Texas to ensure we are providing protection for all of God’s children.

Please watch for emails from Patti Roberson, patti@asecfw.org to get started in this process.
